The past

I was born in 1987, in Debrecen, the second biggest city in Hungary and I also grew up there. I moved to the capital at the age of 19 to attend the Faculty of Law at Eötvös Loránd Science University. I graduated in 2011. I spent 10 years in the world of legal services. I was paralegal first, then trainee lawyer, then in 2015 I passed the bar exam and kept working as a lawyer with a primary focus on employment law. Thank you guys, for me it was enough for a while (or maybe forever). About why I left, you may find out more in my trilogy called “In the backseat of a tuktuk”.

The present

Now my flat is rented out, I sold my car, I handed over my clients and my entire previous life is packed into boxes or lent to somebody. All I am is two rucksacks filled with some useful stuff and a couple of photos. I am writing this blog mainly with a view to updateing my family and friends on what is going on with me. Hopefully they read it… 🙂

By depicting some memorable locations, events (either historical or everyday), people or the conversations I have with them I strive to show how my days are passing and how I am. It is my firm intention to get close to local people and understand their lives, in the meanwhile I am trying to stay busy doing some bucketlist activities.

1. Before traveling I strongly recommend doing a research on the necessary vaccines and the state of public security in the locations you wish to explore.
2. I do not strive at all to be like Wikipedia.
3. The photos are usually aligned in a chronological order but you can easily guess that the texts are not always about the photos.
4. WARNING: My summaries may still contain some traces of lawyer.
